1. Raghuram Rajan

Source

Raghuram Rajan is an Indian economist and former governor of Reserve Bank of India and currently works as a professor of finance at University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

He also worked as Chief Economist and Director of Research at the International Monetary Fund from 2003 to 2006.

He is the winner of inaugural Fischer Black Prize given by US Finance Association to the financial economist younger than 40 years.

He was named among the 100 Most Influential People in the World by Time magazine in 2016.

2. Janet Lane-Claypon

Janet Lane-Claypon was an English physician and one of the founders of epidemiology(study and analysis of the distribution and determinants of health and disease conditions in defined populations).

Lane studied in London School of Medicine for Women in 1898 and was a double doctorate holder as she completed MD and PhD.

She did research on breast cancer and feeding of breast milk to kids by doing research on 2 babies by feeding one with cow's milk and other baby with breast milk and demonstrated the difference in weights of the babies.

She was a winner of various fellowships and honours.

3. Carlos Felipe Ximenes Belo

Carlos Felipe Ximenes Belo is an East Timorese Roman Catholic Bishop who worked as a Apostolic Administrator of Díli in East Timor.

East Timor was occupied by Indonesia prior to 2002 and had worst conditions for people to live because of the massacres.

Belo along with José Ramos-Horta fought for the independence of East Timor by writing letters to various countries, United Nations and President of Portugal.

For this effort of providing a peaceful solution to the conflict of East Timor, both Belo and Ramos were awarded with Nobel Peace Prize in 1996.

4. Bob Simpson

Bob Simpson is a former cricketer from Australia who played 62 Tests and 2 ODI's for Australia and also captained the National team.

An interesting fact about Simpson is that, he returned to test cricket at the age of 41 to captain the side after 10 years of retirement.

He was a pivotal opening batsman along with Bill Lawry.

After retiring from cricket, Simpson worked as coach of Australian national team and was instrumental in transforming them to a successful test and ODI team and helped the team to win 1987 Cricket Worldcup.

He was named Wisden cricketer of the year in 1965 and was inducted into ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2013.

5. Norman Rockwell

Norman Rockwell was an American author of 20^th century along with being a painter and illustrator whose works have a popular appeal in the United States and reflects their culture.

Some of his works include the Willie Gillis series, Rosie the Riveter, The Problem We All Live With, Saying Grace and the Four Freedoms series.

He had produced more than 4000 art works in his lifetime and was famous for painting portraits of Presidents of America and other world leaders.
