Undying love for online stuffs

I could read 300 pages of a text online but give me a text of 50 pages then be be ready to call 911 because someone will be fainting soon.

Four years in the university as an English student, I never had any evidence whatsoever in my room to prove I was one. You know the popular mentality of having shelves of book in your room since lots of texts were involved.

The sight of any hardcopy material made my heart skip especially when it appears bulky, you would be wondering how I managed to pass since I couldn't stand reading a text. Truth be told I love reading a lot, but compelling me to read through those long texts was a huge turnoff. Literature was literally my best subject in secondary school which was why the "Mastery of Literature" remained my favourite book then.

Until I was admitted into the university to devote 80% of my time to reading texts. Trust me I was pained but it never depreciated my love for reading, all i did was convert text's money to data money, what do i mean? Instead of collecting money to buy texts I asked for subscription money thereby killing two birds with a stone I didn't have to renew my subscription from my pocket money.

The only text I ever bought with my money was "Weep not Child" not because i wanted to own it but because all the members of my group had a copy so I can't be the blacksheep. The best part of this piece is that while reading online I could view Toke Makinwa's latest outfit on Instagram(for me, there was no joy bigger than that then while reading;the feeling of knowing you're doing the needful and spycing it up with the leisure😅😅😅)and happily go back to my reading, the picture wouldn't be nice if I had a book and my phone's screen active same time🤣🤣. i will just be tagged one unserious student deceiving herself😆😆.

In the end, There's no greater joy than doing what you love in the way that is best convenient for you.
