It has been a while, life sort of got chaotic for a bit and everyone seemed to be very busy, but I think it is time to get back on track with this project because it really is close to my heart. So I am back to call out to the Steemit community and beyond to join me in making this project a reality what is the ONE project you might ask?- well 30 years ago there was a musical project called One world one voice. In May 1990 Filmmaker Kevin Godley. Filmed presented a film depicting the creation of a song via the "chain tape" principal. 250 musicians some famous some not worked together to create an one hour song together. Each of them adding to the song and or overdubs to the existing pieces. The general theme of the project was a call of unity of all people and also a call to protect our planet. My first post on the subject has more info on the original project. So you might ask yourself if this has been done before why do it again ? Well first of all Our planet is in peril, we humans have brought her to the edge of collapse she needs help a project like this can inspire unity and we have never needed to be more unified as a species as today. We humans need to understand that we share one planet she is our home and deserves our respect and protection, we need to act as a global community to change our ways and make things better for all who live here on this earth. Back in the 90's Kevin recognised it and for a while projects like this did seem to have a positive impact. I really believe we can create something good here. So what am I looking for? Well we need - A- musicians to collaborate with and create our musical piece This will be a larger project and will probably take about 12 months to complete maybe a bit more so this is not instant gratification, it will be a process. If you are interested I would love to have you, if you have friends you think might like to participate send them my way. We also have a Discord all interested in joining and/or supporting this project are welcome. So what’s the first step? Well for starters we need to create base tracks we can all collab and work off of @ivan.atman is currently working on one but we need several more. Music is the heart of the project , however there is much more we can do heret. The soul of this project lies in wanting to protect our planet as well as helping our brothers and sisters on this planet live beautiful lives with decent life quality. Now we all know that we can pretty much forget getting help from our governments and world corporations. There is no Hero coming to save us, we are in this on our own. There is however a lot we can do to help each other and our communities. I was thinking we could create a database to teach people sustainable practices as well as ways to improve their lives and lower their carbon footprint. The database could contain things like how to grow food (even in urban environments ), how to collect rain water, build and repair things how to become energy independent. We could connect people who have the same ideas and/or already existing projects to exchange knowledge, and maybe even tools and workforce, for individual projects and ideas. We can create job and skill banks and connect green micro/communities and projects all over the world. Just a thought. I would like to invite @d-vine ’s Gaia initiative and industries to collab on that part of the project. @prc to maybe collab on the musical part (yes I am being brazen here :P ). B- regular people who might want to give us video snippets of themselves for the video
C- Visual artists, stop motion artists and animators who might want to contribute a snippet to the piece.
D- poets who might want to contribute pieces that will be incorporated as well (no more than 15 lines. If longer it will be incorporated in a companion e- book where short stories will be welcome as well )
E- dancers who might want to provide footage dancing to the music piece to be incorporated in the video

I'm on it like tots this time, I love this below...
We have this un common, I'm working on building my off grid eco village which will operate in similar way, and will be expandible in a sense that it will provide strawbale tiny housing (limestone plastered) to travelers and refugees to have a temorary place to stay and educate themselves about the sustainability and permaculture.
Nods I had started a project like that in an urban area before iI got sick it was to be for humans and non humans . But then I lost the property, it was the one I had the rescue on. If I ever get better financially I would like to do something like that again definitely also want to create a data base for microcommunities like yours to connect and communicate .
Yes indeed, same here, ever since I heard about blockchain I've set my goals to achieve an absolute decentralization (system emancipation in a material and logistical sense) and to try to connect micro communities as well as much as I can, having said that, also to create another eco village in a sub tropical area to attain fruits/vegetables that cannot grow in my area and vice versa, the idea is to create one solar powered catamaran that would initiate a trade between my two communities, as far reached as it sounds, ways I will do this are extremely cheap in all aspects , I will soon start to write about it more on the platform, really glad there are more people out there with similar goals, we need this.
don't disregard blimps for cargo I really think they need to resurface :)
Thanks a lot for the advice, yes they are very practical in some cases but..
They are actually not for international flights (at least not at most times of the year) they are really unpredictable and cost tons of money (gas money and maintenance) and uses gas that would need to be obtained from the corporative sources, also I don't want to use gas in the future cause it is bad for the environment.
If you are thinking on electric motored blimps, they are quite small and could not bare the load necessary, and also again, they are very unpredictable and easy to lose to wind when trying to fly long distance.
Solar powered catamaran/raft is very stable, low maintenance and recharges as it travels, also can bare outstanding loads if done as a flat catamaran raft with a man cabin in the middle.
