I was thinking we could create a database to teach people sustainable practices as well as ways to improve their lives and lower their carbon footprint...
We have this un common, I'm working on building my off grid eco village which will operate in similar way, and will be expandible in a sense that it will provide strawbale tiny housing (limestone plastered) to travelers and refugees to have a temorary place to stay and educate themselves about the sustainability and permaculture.
Nods I had started a project like that in an urban area before iI got sick it was to be for humans and non humans . But then I lost the property, it was the one I had the rescue on. If I ever get better financially I would like to do something like that again definitely also want to create a data base for microcommunities like yours to connect and communicate .
Yes indeed, same here, ever since I heard about blockchain I've set my goals to achieve an absolute decentralization (system emancipation in a material and logistical sense) and to try to connect micro communities as well as much as I can, having said that, also to create another eco village in a sub tropical area to attain fruits/vegetables that cannot grow in my area and vice versa, the idea is to create one solar powered catamaran that would initiate a trade between my two communities, as far reached as it sounds, ways I will do this are extremely cheap in all aspects , I will soon start to write about it more on the platform, really glad there are more people out there with similar goals, we need this.
don't disregard blimps for cargo I really think they need to resurface :)
Thanks a lot for the advice, yes they are very practical in some cases but..
They are actually not for international flights (at least not at most times of the year) they are really unpredictable and cost tons of money (gas money and maintenance) and uses gas that would need to be obtained from the corporative sources, also I don't want to use gas in the future cause it is bad for the environment.
If you are thinking on electric motored blimps, they are quite small and could not bare the load necessary, and also again, they are very unpredictable and easy to lose to wind when trying to fly long distance.
Solar powered catamaran/raft is very stable, low maintenance and recharges as it travels, also can bare outstanding loads if done as a flat catamaran raft with a man cabin in the middle.
