What value does making a bot that copies and quotes what you say in italics back at you?
It's the equivalent of shouting in a cave and hearing your voice back at you... entertaining for awhile but then just a complete bunch of annoying noise.
I don't get it either.
I understand that he/she wanted to spam the system and earn something without any work, but this is just dumb. It doesn't bring any value and most people flag it. That means no money for him/her.
It only annoys people, nothing more than that.
That's why we need active admin on steemit to block things like that.
The problem with admins is that now you have a centralized solution again... Crypto is all about decentralized solutions based on math. I guess we just got to keep flagging the bots until people give up on that idea... What do you think?
Are these bots incentivizing upvotes by automatically upvoting posts? This could be problematic as it would mean bots upvoting bots. This would ultimately break Steem as credible valuable information would no longer rise to the surface...
I think steemit creators should do a better job on detecting bots that are trying to spam and scam the whole system...
Most users are afraid to flag someone's spam post because they are afraid.
They are afraid of revenge from those people or bot makers.
Revenge in shape of getting flagged for each post and losing reward that way
