One Photo Every Day: Old Coins (18/365)

This is another picture filled with history and stories, a lot of coins, old and new, from a few European Countries. The oldest coin is from about 1960 or something, I don't even know where I have it from.

I'm so tired right now and it's only 10pm. This week was so long and it's not done yet, there are still a lot of fires to put of, a lot of people to meet up and a lot of fun to have.

When you feel fatigue, as I feel right now, just shake off your state and keep on going. Never stop because if you take off your foot from the gas pedal, you will never achieve your fully potential.

Have a great one.

I remember I would always search for old coins to see if they were silver.

Did any of them were silver?

I did find this half dollar coin once which was about half silver. That was fun. I searched probably 500 half dollar coins from banks when I was a kid for fun.

A cool collection of coins I have a little box with Co Ins and bank notes from many countries must look for it sometime

I bet you have a lot of them. I had a few banknotes too but I don't know where they disappeared.

I know I sealed the box in MUltiple plastic bags when Packing for the last move because it had a horrible odor but i just couldn’t throw it and the noteds and coins out

Good thinking. I'm really curious to know where you traveled

LOL its a long list 60+ countries over the years

I know, that's what makes it interesting. :D

Well Let’s say a few in Asia and Australasia, Europe, Africa, MIddle East Americas :)

Sweet. I bet you had a great time.

I love looking at old coins. I only get to look at US old coins though so these are awesome thanks for sharing!

Sure. Thanks for your comment :)

It's a great idea for a photo. Coins always have an interesting story and a fair amount of colors.

Just the other day I accidentally tried to pay in Thai shop with Polish coins (I was on holiday in Poland not long ago and some of the coins got mixed up with Thai baht) To top it off I had some Euro in my back pocket. It took me a moment to find the right currency. I felt like Benny from the movie Mummy looking for the right medallion to safe his life :). Very nice picture of course. Coins are such a great way to connect to the past. You can actually hold the past in your hand. I personally like the Roman coins. Beautiful and filled to the brim with history :).

Haha, funny story man :))
Yes, coins are really great
