Working Hard Behind the Scenes to Prep Steem Onboarding Videos!
Hi Friends,
You may have noticed both my blog and the @steemsistershow have been a little quieter lately. Part of that is I've been sick the last few days...but even more so is that I'm full steem ahead getting the videos ready for the beta @steemonboarding site.
We are launching our first module with 10 videos in 10 languages. So a little quick math shows you that's only 100 videos to splice up, edit, and upload for starters. Piece of cake! ;)
I wanted to share this screenshot from my video editing software, because I've been having so much fun tweaking and fine tuning the intros/outros and effects during the videos. Luckily, I've got some great stuff to work with from our talented web designer @elteamgordo.
To me, editing videos is so much more than just bringing clips together, it's about taking the viewer on an emotional journey from start to finish. As you can see in the screenshot - I'm bringing in different pieces at various times, fading things in at and out and trying tons of different options until I find the right fit. Taking a little extra time to tweak things and really think about the end user will hopefully result in a better overall feel of professionalism to the videos.
In case you missed it - check out our Sneak Peak Video Preview that we posted a few days ago.
We Have the Best Video and Translation Team
I also wanted to say a HUGE thank you to our video and translation team for doing such a great job with their respective videos and getting them to me so promptly! It's been awesome working with this crew.
Coming soon... French from @evecab and Ukranian from @bugavi. Plus more languages to be added in the next phase of the site.

Editing videos is harder than writing, but now I enjoy editing videos, especially when I've tried using dtube.
By the way, does this project make it possible to add Indonesian? I am interested in translating into Indonesian.
What is exciting is to see community members taking time to these videos as we have seen from @anomadsoul takes many iterations and outtakes to get right! I can’t wait to start seeing them launched! Hope you get well soon!

Wow...so much thing happening behind the scene. I never knew that the onboarding is coming up in so many different languages. One thing pretty clear, you got the best team for the project and each member is master in their languages. Looking forward to see what else will be added in next phase...steem on !
