A Brief Description On How The Circuit Operates

To describe this latest circuit, the diodes enable the big CAP to accumulate much higher voltages during transistor off times because it is now “blocked” from going into the source battery as blocked by the diode.

If we try to analyze, if the CAP can save much more voltage, it can only mean that it will only drain itself towards the charge battery and the circuit during the transistor on times, thereby prolonging the time it can drain its charge.

The more time the CAP will be discharged, the lesser drain from the source battery.

The CAP is clearly aiding the source battery in this arrangement.
