HOT Day At The Homestead But Lots Of Activity
It was a very hot day on the homestead at around 85 degrees F.
Melanie was baking inside the house which kept me outside all the more.
Since it was cooler in my off grid electronics lab, I spent most of my time there working on projects.
I am trying to restore lead acid batteries for use on our off grid home. This takes some time but it can bring and old badly sulfated battery back to life again.
Melanie made some very awesome pizza. She bakes literally everything herself these days.
I have also been working on making a vehicle replacement battery using super capacitors. SuperCapacitors have a life of about a million cycles, which far exceeds the few thousand cycles of a car battery. This could potentially be the last starting battery I ever need.
I got a package in the mail from a company called TackLife.

This is a great money making idea for you Troy . I watched a fellow Youtuber from NY state who has since moved to Michigan do this . It's brilliant and your subs will love it also . What this genius would do is start some type of project , complete 60 to 70 percent and then whine and complain that he didn't have enough funds to complete the task . His subs would then send donations and gifts to the wretched fellow out of sympathy . Now this is the brilliant part , read closely . He was a proclaimed Christian soul and would never deceive a person . His subs of course took his word as gospel . Whatever this man claims is surely the truth . He would then claim the project was finished but not film the competed task . Pocket the donated cash and sell the gifts on CL . Absolutely brilliant . What do you think of this idea Troy ? Does it seem a little dishonest or just a fantastic idea ? I truly hope you can give me your opinion on this . I will post this on every video .
As promised previously Troy this is another story of our man from Michigan . This one is about " LOVE " . A little background first . The man was a social misfit , especially with the opposite sex . Unable to find love in the good old U , S of A . The solution , seek it out in a third world country . WARNING : before continuing have plenty of tissue on hand . He joins a dating site and voila , in no time at all he's hit with a thunderbolt from the heavens . His true love is right there on the screen . Lord have mercy , a VERY young woman loves him . Benny Hill theme now plays . He packs , flies 10,000 miles over to her , proposes , she accepts , flies back and unpacks . Have that tissue handy now . The visa costs are going to bankrupt him , sniff , sniff , what to do . Losing his hair , can't sleep , oh lord . Ah ha beg for it ! Thank you folks . BUT WAIT , how do I get her to America . Will the suffering never cease , even the chickens are feeling his anguish , they stopped laying eggs and evil nasty winds are tearing his fairy meadow to shreds . ( have to take a break from this tale , my watery eyes make me unable to see the keys ) I will endeavor to persevere . What to do Lord almighty ? Ah ha , beg some more . Thank you again folks . And there you have it Troy . Our man who was " living in a fish bowl , year after year " ( stole that from Pink Floyd , Animals ) found and with a little ebegging bought a " Very " young bride . Wasn't that a touching story Troy ? Don't worry , I haven't forgotten the tale of the downtrodden bloke who worked for this fellow . It will be in the next edition of Scambuster Chronicles .

It's time to build your wife an outdoor kitchen! ;)
However, if you're like us an the homestead "to-do list" is never ending, then you can do what we did. We put a two burner camp stove on our front porch for canning and cooking. We also bought an All American Sun Oven so that in the summer time I can do ALL my baking outdoors. It really helps keep the house much cooler! :)

We have a camp oven with 2 burners sitting on the porch. Plus we have a solar cooker from GoSun solar.

Would you mind answering a question for me? Back when you lived in NY, you put up a video about not being able to live in your tiny house due to zoning laws, and you had to live in a room or apartment. I'm curious about this since I'm building a little cabin on my property here and I don't want to run into problems. So were you ever able to really live in the tiny house or did the authorities forbid it the whole time you were in NY?
His tiny house was nothing more than a movie set. He had an apartment at the main house he lived in until January/February 2017. He is not to be trusted.

Well, for a time I had to move out. But I was able to overcome those obstacles by working with the town hall and authorities. The most important thing I learned is this: Work with town hall first!! On our new homestead, even before we bought the land, I introduced myself to the town hall. The people who can say yah or nay to anything you want to do. Build up a relationship with them first.
Show me the proof that you know the folks at the town hall. Get one of them to email me, they know my username name and I have good relations with them. Its all bull with you T-Scammer, do it, show me the proof! We have the proof, you have nothing, never have and never will!
