Winning the Oracle-d dapp review and 4 tips on how you can be a winner too.

The key is not the will to win… everybody has that. It is the will to prepare to win that is important ~ Bobby Knight.

From the very beginning of the year, @oracle-d.tasks has been engaging the community with several contests. Most of the contests have been about reviewing a dapp from the state of the dapps collections. I was not really participating in most of these tasks because I was swamped with work. However, on their most recent contest, I was very lucky that it came at a time when I had days off work. So for the very first time, I got involved also in reviewing a dapp. Honestly, there is nothing as fulfilling as contributing to the oracle-d tasks; it is an incredible experience. I learnt a lot of new things. The most awesome thing is I won the contest 💕💕💕 really amazing! anyway, I want to share some tips that I used in my blog to triumph over other blogs.

Quick tips on how to win @oracle-d Dapp review contests.

  1. Add personal narratives to your blog.
A number of readers respond to anecdotes positively because most writers don't like sharing their personal experiences and yet readers yearn to connect with the writers. 98% of the blogs that talk about dapps do not have personal touches in them. All the writers go straight to explaining what the dapps do. The best way to distinguish yourself from the horde and entice readers is to add a personal touch to your review.

  2. Give your blog your best shot.
One amazing thing about life is it gives you what you work for. If your work is lousy then the results will be lousy too. I have realized most people participate in this contest to make money but the best approach is to make a difference with your blog. Spend a couple of hours researching and planning wisely on how you are going to represent your work and how you are going to distinguish yourself from everyone else. Well enough, @oracle-d recognizes hard work, therefore, do what you can with all you have, wherever you are.

  3. Neatly arrange your work.
It is important that you follow a consistent formula when working on your blog. Let's say you can decide to add a text divider after an image or thematic breaks, you can also have subheads after every few paragraphs. When working on a review, you have to lure readers into your post because the more they keep reading, the more they understand the dapp and the best way to prove to them that your content is valuable is to have it neatly arranged. It is cool to make your work clear, easy and enjoyable.

  4. Add details to your blog.
When working on a review, you should ensure all the necessary information is contained within the post itself. External links should only provide supplemental information. The readers should not have to click a link to apprehend your post, however, they should decipher what is being communicated in your blog. It is also worth noting that too many details can ruin your work so it is best if you focus on key details.
