OCDB Delegation
I've been asked how to delegate to @ocdb quite a lot lately and as excited I am that people are eager to delegate to it for a daily return and that the account has grown to 3.1M SP delegation, it gets a bit old telling people daily how to do it.
Although we plan on reworking the messages that @ocdb leaves with links to quick delegation amounts, I just wanted to make a quick post that I can link to in the near future when users ask me how to delegate to @ocdb.
Since you're here and already reading, I just wanted to let you know again that delegating to @ocdb is not a requirement for using it, delegating also does not get you onto the whitelist. You do however receive one of the most competitive returns on the platform since @ocdb is nonprofit and the only profit goes to authors buying votes (about 10%).
Anyway, a simple link that anyone can use is this:

The number "50" at the end of the link before the "%20SP" is the amount you want to delegate. So basically just replace the number 50 to any amount of SP you want to delegate and you will start receiving daily returns from @ocdb after the first payout which occurs at 9 PM GMT+1 daily.

I would love to but I heard you could not get anymore people on the Whitelist. Is it true ?

No that's not true. We're just not adding any today, we're working on another way to get added to the whitelist than only through @ocd curation.
Hi @acidyo Thanks to your post I delegated 500 sp and I am very satisfied and happy because of that.
I have just one question, if I choose to withdraw my delegation in one point I do not now how to do it:) Maybe you could add the steps how to do that to your post.

If you want to do it the same way as I explained above, just change it like this:
steemconnect.com/sign/delegateVestingShares?delegator=acidyo&delegatee=ocdb&vesting_shares=0.000000 VESTSthe only difference being your username instead of mine and the numbers being 0.000000 vests with those exact decimals.

What I like about the OCDB users is that they don't seem to stack other bots on top, which keeps the posts out of Trending. Some would likely not look out of place there compared to what I see currently though.
I've also noticed some larger bots alter their 'max loss' cap recently, and folks are complaining that their bid has returned as much as -40%. Not the case here though.
Yeah, I mean I understand if people want to boost their posts up for attention, naturally they should pay more than what the return is. With us they get a much more stable return over time and they know the votes are going to authors that deserve them and use our bot to grow on the platform and help distribution.
So even if bid bots may have higher ROI at busy times, they may struggle other times with it.
We are hoping that with a bigger whitelist and more unique authors buying @ocdb votes daily we can lower the max bid but that will not affect anyone's ROI. Call it an early adoption bonus for those using it now. :)
Yeah, at present it's financially profitable to advertise - not that common elsewhere in the world!
More authors and a lower bid would be even better.
