Enjoyed the article, first time seeing Vietnamese marriage. Interesting with a lot of rituals as well, just like my locals. A lot of dos and donts, but in the end it’s all about wishing the newly wed the best for their future. Lovely event, your relatives wedding?
Yeah that's the wedding of my lover's brother.We have a lot of rituals and complexities, I left the rituals simple and I just write the main rituals .. How is the wedding of the homeland?
Going through quite similar rituals like meeting parents, sending gifts, choosing the right date... long time didn't join one too, usually attend the dinner only. Haha.. but will be facing that soon in the future, guess I can start research about mine again.
haha i think almost Asian weddings are alike. haha. Currently, some rituals have been cut to save time and money. 😂
Indeed, it’s very time consuming and costly. It’s not cheap to get married nowadays and everything is being commercialized.
I see a big wedding, but the bride and groom are very tired and have to do a lot of things. I like a simple wedding in the West.
ya, so like here, we separate the Registration of Marriage and the ceremonial wedding day into different dates. To lessen the burden, especially the money need to be prepared upfront, a crazy amount. Personally, I do like lean kind of wedding, with close friends and family will do.
