Helping Alongside @lynrogan’s Charity Work! | Sharing The Love on Love Month ❤️

Just a few days left & Valentines is almost here! So @lynrogan and I decided to share & give some love to the homeless people, this is suppose to be our early Valentines gift to the people, so this happened around weeks ago or so, and I guess I wanted to post this blog, when Valentines is near!

It was February 2, 2018. Lyn & I were discussing and planning what to give the elders and the kids, it took us quite a while, when we finally thought of something than can be helpful & useful for the people & it is budget friendly! So we thought of buying the elders foods & fruits same for the children. Because we realized that our work will start in the afternoon, and It is a perfect time to provide lunch in the afternoon for them hehe. And we were at first, clueless of what frui to buy, but then Since We both have blogs about the benefits of fruits, we took a look back of some our list, and we chose apples & oranges for the kids & elders!

So yeah, we finished planning 2 days before our charity work, maybe because we are so excited to help the people 😄. So when the day finally came, February 4, 2018 we were extremely excited!

So I ate breakfast first, visited the church before I went on my way to meet @lynrogan, traffic was really onto me, so it took me a while before I arrived at our meeting area, which is at front of the church.

When we finally saw each other, it was around noon, so we rushed to a fastfood chain so we can buy the foods for the elders, because we were planning to give the foods to the elders, and for the kids, we were planning that they will come with us to the fast food chain, so they can choose what they want, we planned that for the elders, because we had the idea, that if we will bring them to the fast food chain, they might not because some of them might to be ab,e to walk well, or have a hard time doing so, so we were left with that choice. We ordered some lunch, and drinks!

So after ordering the foods & drinks, lyn and I went on our way to buy some fruits, it took a while, searching for fruits while carrying the foods, took us a while, but we managed it.

We bought so many fruits, just incase the foods runout or what we bought werent enough, atleast we have some fruits to provide the elderlies. I kinda feel sad because we were not sure if what we bought was enough, but hopefully, in our next charit work, our budget is enough.

So we then went on our way to the outside of the church, to see if there are homeless elders. We saw a lady on a wheelchair, lyn & I, were deeply moved to see her in that state, she was aking for coins at the people passing by, so Lyn and I thought the same thing, that the lady was really in need, so lyn and I gave her some foods and drink, and some fruits. At first, we thought she was the only one seeing, but suddenly there were so many elders coming to us, they were gathering, so lyn & I got confused, so it ended up, we were giving away the foods, but the fruits repeatedly 😂. So we were left with only one pack of lunch, but. We still have plenty of fruits.

We thought it was done, but on our way to eat lunch, we saw a vendor, selling Sampaguita. We were so touched to see her,beecause all other vendors were standing and selling, while she was just at the side, it seemed that she has a hard time standing to sell like the others, so we really were touched so, with our last pack of lunch, and having fruits, we gavee. Her the lunch and some fruits. Lyn was really happy & we asked her if we could take a picture, thankfully she was excitedly ready and lyn immediately stood beside her, while I was taking a picture of them, I can’t help but to feel happy to see the smile of the elder.

Unfortunately, we did not see any kids that we can treat, or help so we searched around the area, but there weren’t any, so we just decided that next time, we will buy more foods for the kids.

So just when we were about to buy our lunch, because we started our charity woork around 11:00 AM & we finished around 1:00 PM so we were really hungry too! But on our way, we saw the lady in wheelchair again, I remembered that we never really got the chance to give her fruits, thankfully we had so many oranges left, so e gave her the entire bag of oranges! She went home smiling, and that really is one of the best gifts we can receive from them, to see them smile.

So yeah, after that, we went ahead and ate lunch! And went on our way home. It was really awesome, went home exhausted but full of Happiness because we helped people. Hopefully in our next charity work, we can help more people. Thanks for viewing! Thanks for reading!
