Autumn Crystal Forest. Ephemeral Art. Original Photography.
Berries in a forest of Mica.
Calming my heart. Quietening my thoughts.
Trusting all is as it is meant to be.
In this time of transition.
And nights of Ice.

A piece of blue Kyanite under your pillow at night is said to bring relaxation to The Dreamer, allowing your dreams to be more vivid and the information they contain to be more easily recalled.
As well as keeping a piece of blue Kyanite under my pillow, I have a wonderful collection of smaller slivers of Kyanite and the notion was there to work with them in some way.
Before beginning to arrange this autumn ephemeral piece, I laid out the blue Kyanite slivers in a straight row in order of their height. I still had no idea of what the arrangement was going to be, but ordering them in this way allowed me to handle each one and begin to come in touch with their soothing properties.
Autumn Crystal Forest.
First Stage.
The blue Kyanite slivers were arranged in groups of threes. The tallest at the bottom and the shortest at the top.
Pieces of pale violet Lepidolite mica were then arranged in semi-circles around the left side of each group.
Balancing yin-yang energy. Moving energy gently through the physical body.

Second Stage.
Small white quartz stones were gently scattered around each group.
It supports performers as it strengthens the voice and heals the throat area and allows individuals to 'Speak their own Truth.'

Final Stage: For now.
Bright red berries were arranged over and around the white stones of each group.
The background was now laid out for the next stage of the arrangement. However I like this stage as a finished image in itself.
It brings deep emotional healing, soothing and reducing stress and depression.

It’s a balancing crystal during those times when you feel like you’re being swept away by the demands of life.

I think I could do with something like the Kyanite to help with dreams! Great artwork as well. Would you put the whole lot under the pillow or hang it above the bed like a "dream catcher"?

It's beautiful. I never heard about the blue Kyanite before... But apart from the effects you listed, it seems that they are also great art materials :)
I wonder if it is possible to add more colours to it without contaminating the fact that how pure it is... Some yellow flower petals might look nice, but I don't know?

Thanks so much @lilacse. Yes, I love making use of the shapes and colours and textures of rocks, gemstones and crystals in arrangements with other natural materials. And knowing the energy they all hold becomes part of the work then as well.
This was just the beginning of this piece. I went on to add some autumn leaves ~ Mainly reds and oranges with just a little yellow. Hope to share it soon.
I love your idea of adding yellow petals to the blue and red though ~ I've already disassembled this arrangement but will keep the idea in mind for another piece. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
Very inspiring art.
Upvoted, hopefully just in time ... well done on your creative art. I enjoy collage, mostly using photos or pictures from magazines to create a new picture.

Thanks so much April. Our Autumn was stunning this year. Nothing like a European Autumn, as only our non-native trees like Liquid Ambers and Japanese Maples are deciduous.
It's been the first time I've photographed aspects of our Autumn which has made me appreciate its divine nature more than ever before. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
I really enjoy looking at your art. It is very unique. You should create a photo book of all your creations.
Thanks so VERY much for your suggestion @watersnake.
I've actually been looking at self-publishing a book with the theme of Peace and Roses that will incorporate some of my ephemeral art pieces where roses were used with other natural materials as well as drawings and paintings of details of some of these works.
A second book would then be for other works such as this present piece. I really appreciate your comment as it supports my 'vision.' ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
Absolutely stunning. Reminds me if a winter wonderland. Where do you get all your crystals from?
I read a book the other day which made me think of you. Its called The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. A little bit !drama but still lovely and I liked the way it was very connected to Australian flowers and their imagined symbolism.

Thanks so much @riverflows. Even though we don't have snow in Sydney I still see the winter colours as being white and red with black, greys and browns.
I collect crystals from so many places ~ Mainly local markets now. But the Lepidolite and Kyanite I had left over from a sculpture I made for Sculpture by the Sea ~ Nearly 8 years ago now. I'd bought them wholesale from Earth Crystals ~ They helped me a lot in selecting crystals that had the earth healing properties I wanted for the sculpture.
I'll have to look out for 'The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart' now. I'd love to read it. Love our Australian Wildflowers and the work that has been done in tuning into their essence healing properties. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
