In children: Obese children under 3 are less likely to become obese when they are older, unless their parents are obese. If the child is obese after 3 years of age, the risk of obesity when growing up will not depend on whether the parents are obese or not.

Lower body height lowering in childhood has a positive relationship with overweight / obesity, especially obesity (apple) and high blood pressure (hypertension). Children weighing less than 2,500 grams at birth and weighing less than 8 kg at 1 year of age tended to focus on the abdomen.

At adolescence: Obesity at this stage is directly related to obesity as adults. In addition, if there is obesity at this age, the risk of adverse health events increases.

In adulthood:
For Adults: According to research, most women gain weight after puberty. Weight gain during pregnancy in some people will gain much weight during this period, up to 50kg. In addition, menopause also poses the risk of women gaining weight and changing fat stores that usually occur in menopause.

For adult males: The change from the habit of increasing activity in adolescence to a reduced activity of adulthood increases the risk of obesity in adult men. Weight gain usually increases before age 60, after 55-64 years of age, weight can stabilize, then decrease.
