Here is some Malaysia collection that worth paying some extra attention.

1.jpg

Lot 100553 is a Malaysia RM50 set contain cointain HL0000001 -0000010 (10pcs) , solid number from 1 to 9 (10 pcs) , HL10000000 and HL1234567 .

this is the 2nd time where all solid number, small number, and ladder number come from the same prefix. To do this, you will need to have 10 million pieces of the same batch of banknote to even do it.

Prefix referring to the first 2 alphabets before the serial number.

Lot 100509 is a Malaysia 4th Series 5 ringgit banknote issue during Governor Aziz Taha . 4th Series banknote from his time is not easy to come by in UNC and this one score 67 in grading. 67 is the highest score any banknote are get and the Serial number is a solid 8 .

8 is most Asian collector favourite number because 8 is the luckiest number in Chinese culture because 八 sounds like 發 (fa), which means “wealth”, “fortune”, and “prosper” in Chinese. Multiples of eight are even better, as 88 bears a resemblance to 囍 (shuāng xǐ), or “double happiness”. More 8 mean better luck .

Lot 100344 is a Malaysia 6th Series RM1000 banknote. Most younger Malaysian generation have never seen a RM1000 banknote.

What make even more special is this is a replacement banknote. Replacement banknote are even more rare than the normal issue.

There are actually other RM1000 replacement banknote but i not sure which to showcase , so i decide to choose this instead.

Lot 100277 is Malaysia 3rd Series RM1000 banknote. The thing that makes it stand out among the collection is how well preserve the banknote. Most of the RM1000 banknote outside in the market are less than UNC grade because due to how big the banknote is , most of the people would fold the banknote before putting it in to their wallet.

Therefore a UNC grade RM1000 banknote is hard to come by.

Lot 100237 is a Malaysia 2md Series RM5 replacement banknote. The thing that makes it stand out is how well preserved the banknote is and the prefix. Z/1 is a replacement prefix and it is hard to come by.

Lot 101013 is a Malaysia 1970 copper clad steel 1 sen coin. The starting bid is RM10,000 , so what makes it so expensive?

This coin is actually an error coin, the type of error is called " wrong metal error ". The common 1970 1 sen that are mint for public usage is copper, however, this coin is mint using copper-clad steel instead.

So far only 4 pieces are known in the world , 2 is in Malaysia , 1 is in Singapore and 1 is oversea ( country is unknown) .
