WATERS – ACQUE [ENG/ITA]
Hello everyone!!!
Even today we talk about water. This is a tapestry made some years ago. It is a large work, it measures cm 100x180.

Anche oggi parliamo di acqua. Questo è un arazzo fatto alcuni anni fa. E’ un’opera di grandi dimensioni, misura cm 100x180.
The water is a precious resource for life, indispensable for human survival and every of all living beings. Unfortunately it isn’t accessible everyone even if the planet is almost completely covered of it.
L’acqua è una risorsa preziosa per la vita, indispensabile per la sopravvivenza dell’uomo e di tutti gli esseri viventi. Purtroppo non è a tutti accessibile nonostante il pianeta ne sia quasi completamente coperto.
For to represent the water moviment I used some ropes that I glued and with which I sewed the surface of the canvas, then I painted it all with acrylcs colors.
Per rappresentare il movimento dell’acqua ho usato delle corde che ho incollato e con cui ho cucito la superficie della tela, poi ho dipinto il tutto con colori acrilici.
As always I inserted recycled materials like caps, aluminum and plastic inside the painting.
Objects that now populate all our seas, we will soon find them instead of fish.
Come sempre ho inserito all’interno del dipinto materiali riciclati come tappi, alluminio e plastica. Oggetti che ormai popolano tutti i nostri mari , presto li troveremo al posto dei pesci.

What you say is so true, water is so vital to live and it is very sad as many cannot enjoy it.
I like the designs and colors you have chosen, they go completely with the theme.
