The white deer (oil painting on paper)
After a busy Monday spent to take part of the family to the beatiful village of Tellaro, today it was time to come back to the commission about the 4 Rioni (an ancient way of subdivision of my city) and their representation in my own style.
Afther the first one about the Golden Lion, this morning I painted the White Deer!
The "White deer" is the name of the neighborhood also called Porta Lucchese and its colors are green and white.
In the old time, that neighborouhood was the place of the manifacturers. The most part of the local little factories were there cause that area was the best in the city cause the rivers, the ways and the kind of lands.
The symbol of this Rione is a white deer on a green background and so it was simple to represent it in my own style, because I painted a lot of deer in the past ^_^
It's an oil painting on canvas and now it's dryng!
Just to know, the next one will be the griffon! ^_^
