I really like this in sienna hues, @scrawly :D The earthy tones really brings out a 'grounded' feel about the illustration's vibes. Like, she must face reality! But I also like how determined, composed, and classy she looks like. She has a quiet and capable aura about her !
Her hair is so wonderful! I love the strands * ___ * And the flow and twists * ___ * And I love her dress very much :D What a beautiful and elegant fashion :D Looks like an Italian period aristocratic fashion * ___ *
Yes, I imagine this lassie is facing difficult times... it is actually fun to read or watch movies that are filled with struggles and desperation. Obviously I don't want this to happen to anyone in real, but in fiction, they are entertaining XD.
I love orange so these burn umber/sienna hues are wonderful. I cannot believe it is that hot! Oh goodness. Well, find a cool place to sketch for sure :)
Ha ha, I used to love orange juice but now, No carbs :( I do love orange though. I always find myself buying house things in orange and not even intentionally.
One of my favourite chairs (Yes I'm obsessed wtih chairs since I've done series of artwork based on them) is a French Bergere with orange fabric that has robin's egg blue flowers on it.
I might do. Its actually in the painting of my dog Sophie, but it's really blurred out for background affect but the orange in the upper right is that chair :)
Very nice one @scrawly 😸
I feel you xD here in Medellín were in the mid of a dry season and the heat is starting to get too hot for my liking haha of course this isn't getting higher than 30 Celsius luckily.
Enjoy some Icecream on my behalf hehe

Ohhh that is surprising to know. I thought the rest of the world is experiencing winter :O. Not getting higher than 30 sounds very pleasant right now hahaha.
Thanks melooo and for including me in your curation post as well :).
I smell something burning, oh it's just somebody struggling to live another day... CALL THE FIREFIGHTERS, WE GOT A FIRE TO PUT OUT!... But nie, sounds deathly hot (and maybe humid?) but living in that type of heat is bearable if its dry. I mean, had to live in Las Vegas (New Strip) and it taught me how to live in close of enough centigrade (C) degree temperatures like that. (then again, it might just be Polish-Slavic blood to resist the crassest of temperatures and make mockeries of them).
Moving on: I love the orange hues blending in with the generic beach-hill æsthetic in the background (with presumably tropical trees as those curvy lines) while also finding itself in the Aristocratic lass. The fierce look of determination just blends in well with her clothing and her setting, to be ready for anything new coming up. Love it with the flowy, long hair and the rich silk/wool that makes up her dress.
I've been to Las Vegas and I can say that when things get really hot, the feeling is definitely similar. Somehow I can smell and feel the desert wind. Good on you for acclimating well to the heat, I'm easily disturbed by the change of temperature XD.

42°? Wow! What madness!!!!
Great work, @scrawly.
Yes, it felt like the desert. When it gets very hot, there are a lot of fire danger over here. And some stupid pyromaniacs.
Anyway, thank you trin.
Same madness over here during the Summer. 😶

This wonderful piece and its hues would make for a perfect wood inlay ~<333! I feel that it gives off an incredibly serene feel
And 42C is quite roasty :U ! We may hit the upper thirties over here, but rarely the forties. I am sure you are staying well hydrated ;D
Reading your comment always makes me happy, especially because your avie is so adorable XD.
Thanks Sean.
Thank you <333!
I am most proud of my avi ᏊˊꈊˋᏊ !
