Warrior Sketch

Bit of a longer sketch tonight from reference. I felt like drawing all day today, but was busy doing holiday stuff and holding a newborn, I guess he's just a baby now, not quite so new.

I've been listening to a lot of Andreas Antonopoulos videos and man he really gets you pumped about crypto. Highly recommended! So much of what he says about Bitcoin I feel like Steem has that potential as well plus a better distribution system. Right now everyone is worried about raising the value of Steem, and of course that makes sense. I want the value to go up as well. But listening to him I do start to see the bigger picture.

What about when you can just spend Steem to buy whatever you want, or the only relative value to Steem is Bitcoin because it's become more/just as relevant as the USD. I feel like since we're all so focused on the next short term goal we can miss the forest for the trees. So many of the issues that are problems with Steem are general crypto problems, and these things will evolve and develop without us doing anything. If relative to the internet we're in the e-mail stage of blockchain and crypto, the next 10 years are going to be REALLY interesting. I can't wait to see how all of this evolves and I hope Steem is one of the ones that survives and has legs.

While I'm a firm beleiver in the potential here, I also know that tons of projects with a lot of potential don't make it because there's lots of other variables that contribute to the success or failure of something like this but hopefully we can pull through for the long haul, because this technology has the power to move us closer to a world I actually would be excited about. Not this surreal clown show that we've got going currently.
