This another commissioned artwork for a series of Mythological Creatures and Gods, this time this one is about the Norse Mythology god Thor.
Thor (/θɔːr/; from Old Norse: Þórr, runic ᚦᚢᚱ þur) is a hammer-wielding god associated with thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, the protection of mankind and also hallowing and fertility. Besides Old Norse Þórr, extensions of the god occur in Old English as Þunor and in Old High German as Donar (runic ᚦᛟᚾᚨᚱ þonar). Is it weird thatmy favourite bit is the shirt with its very cool liney light direction change? These high contrasty things look great XD
Hmmm 🤔 you're right! , I should have made the beard and hair from that side darker too, however I still want the face to be clearly visible unlike that reference image I used, what to do?
