The shape of the beak of the birds depends on what they eat. Flamenco uses its beak, which has a filter of small hooks, like a sieve to separate the water, the tiny plants and the crustaceans on which it feeds. The prawns give flamenco its bright pink color: if it stops eating, its plumage becomes light gray.
The long legs of flamenco allow it to walk in deeper waters than other birds.
The webbed cakes allow them to walk on the soft mud.
Flamingos are wonderful birds I hope you enjoy the Gif animation of their behavior ..

Aprecio mucho tu arte. Mis saludos.

Greetings @jesusmedit, the flamingos are very cute and those of your painting remind me of an old book of stories that I had as a child, there was one of those stories about them.

Nice painting. ;)

Thank you for such nice colorful painting and appreciate for showing your process of work. Nice flamingo flock :)

for me it is an honor to participate in ntopaz, the watercolor is very new to me, but I am happy to do something in a different style.

Pastel portrait “A girl with a hat” I loved it

Wow, I didn't know their pink colours comes from the prawns they are eating hahaha

That is so cool :D I wonder what the grey flamingoes look like though....

Very nice picture, @jesusmedit ! The animation is done nicely, also, it looks like they are all busy having lunch together :D :D :D

I'm glad to know you liked how the flamingos were.
I want to see soon how you make your art in Sagittarius.
a big hello and a hug @veryspider
