Proud of - Cover for Kite Magazine - Light Painting
At the end of April 2017, I joined the Woodboard-family on a trip to Hamata because of the weather conditions and the possibility of trade winds at night. We decided to do late night Light Painting feat. Kite Surfing at the Red Sea.
Well worth all the efforts, when i see the result:
So i am very proud to get the Cover of the Kite Magazine Germany issue November / December 2017 which is showing off a Light Painting.
For those of you you who really want to get the entire story and how the photo cam about. Here is the "Story Behind" where i explain how we created these pictures.

That was an amazing project. Such a dream trip!
I got so lucky!
There was only that one night with a bit of wind. Not many kiters would have been able to kite under these conditions: dark and little wind. We had two extreemly cool Pro's that made it happend. Yes - what a dream!

That is amazing how that is captured, everything must be very quick, have you done many shots before, I can't imagine that it is possible to do with first try. I can imagine that Kite magazine were happy to have your works as they are extraordinary :)
It actually took a lot of times to be happy about the results, but actually this is one of the early shots when the LED's still worked on his board. We took as many shots as possible before the sun came up. After a few jumps they did not work anymore. Yet that was the first shooting of this kind. Iam soo glad we got something that came out that cool.
