“Music and Light” Contest sponsored by nTOPAZ

Hello, welcome everyone to the "Music and Light" contest.

It is a pleasure to announce to you artists and art lovers, the beginning of this audiovisual arts event sponsored by @nTOPAZ. We go with the description.

Music, always capable of transmitting feelings, emotions, thoughts or philosophies, we are able to externalize many things that we keep inside with music. Understanding the above, this contest seeks "light", but what is light? Light refers to everything positive, so it can be music about world peace, a song about caring for the environment, about the gift of life, about the joy of being parents, about the end of wars, music that injects into others hope, what drives others, what moves others, that inspires others, but beware! The topic is not romanticism, so think what the indicated theme is, choose it, explain briefly why you chose it and of course, sing it and/or play it for everyone!

What kind of music?

We do not limit you in your imagination and musical genre. You can create your own music in any style.

You can choose Electronic music or Vocal-instrumental music. Both can be an original creation or a remixed/cover version.

How to join the contest

• Step 1: prepare your music for the contest.
• Step 2: make audio-visualization for your music.
• Step 3: upload your musical work to YouTube.
• Step 4: share your YouTube link to your post uploaded through nTOPAZ contest page at https://www.ntopaz.com/contest/58.

Submission period

2 weeks from 3 am UTC on 13 june 2019 to 3 am UTC on 27 june 2019.

Music judging criterias

• The idea that you came up with.
• The implementation of your idea.
• The technique and skill shown in your performance.
• The visualization of audio (Important, since it's an AudioVisual contest).
• The dedication in the writing of the post.

The music submitted will be curated and selected by nTOPAZ curators.

Prizes

The contest is sponsored by @nTOPAZ and they will award Topaz tokens to the winners.

• First Place: 1 winner - 3,000 Topaz Tokens.
• Second Place: 2 winners - 2,000 Topaz Tokens each.
• Third Place: 3 winners - 1,000 Topaz Tokens each.

Contest Voting Standards

You will also receive upvotes from nTopaz.

• The voting Criteria: 30% of the total nTOPAZ voting power expendable for the day will support contest entries with upvotes, this is limited to the top 10 according to Daily respect scores.

(However, abuse, plagiarism, and low quality entries will be excluded.)

Rules

1. New submissions on Steem blockchain (no repost).
2. Each artist may submit up to 3 entries.
3. Make it clear in your submission if your work is original or remixed/cover work. If you rely on reference or inspiration to produce your work, please cite your source.
4. Copyright: you are responsible for any claims and arising issue from copyright violations.
5. Audio visualization should also be based on free use and have a CC0 license or it should be the video that you shot yourself.
6. Mention the phrase "Music and Light" before beginning your interpretation.

Please be respectful and follow the rules of the contest and the posting guidelines when you are submitting your artworks. Spamming will not be tolerated and you are risking being blacklisted by the always active Coordination Team.
