Today I want to meet you with my original Mona Lisa or just Mona, or Gio. 😉It was one of my first experiments in Dotwork. I was 16 years old. At this age, my passion for tattoos began. And I decided to create something unusual. I wondered what the works of art would look like if they were painted in our time. 🤔

I immediately had an image of Mona Lisa in my head.
What is hiding my portrait?🤔
📌 Neck. I wanted to emphasize the femininity of Mona Lisa with these patterns.👸
📌 Right hand. Leonardo da Vinci was a scientist and inventor. I decided to add his sketches to Mona's tattoos.👨‍🏫👨‍🎨👨‍⚕️
📌 Left handThe rose is a symbol of love, beauty, youth, purity, holiness and rebirth. 🌹 Rose often serves as a source of inspiration.🙌
📌 StomachThe horse symbolizes intellect, wisdom, intelligence, reason, nobility, light, dynamic strength, agility, quickness of thought, the passage of time. 🐴🐎

HANDS ON THE CHEST OF THE MONA LISA
📌You immediately see the inscription on his hands. This is the name of the artist who created this picture.
Yes, behind her back is Leonardo da Vinci and hides the most intimate with his own hands. 👨‍🎨
📌Keys are a symbol of the fact that only the creator has all the answers, only he knows the truth of his portrait. 🔑
📌The dates on the fingers are the dates when this picture was painted.👨‍🎨🖐

In the end I would like to write a quote by Leonardo da Vinci: "The sad fate awaits the one who is endowed with talent, but instead of developing and improving his abilities, he over-ascends and is given to idleness and narcissism." 👨‍🎨☝
All the inspiration! Develop your talents and look for yourself! It's never too late to find your calling in life.

And remember! Life is too short to be insignificant! Create!☝😉

How to make Mona Lisa not boring :)

Dots? Wow. You must have been at this a while. Leonardo quote is so good. You’re so humble 😊 the details on what everything is supposed to represent is truly remarkable.

Really cool dot-art picture, @curly-xu! You made this when you were 16? Wow ! So talented :D !!! I think I was playing video games a lot when I was that age and wasn't drawing at all hahahaha~ I really like all the details you've put into this piece, the roses, the dates on the fingers, the inscriptions on the artist's arms, the horses, the neck's decorations... they are all wonderfully and carefully painted ! Absolutely gorgeous :)

And you are 100% right also about the message in your writing :) Life is too short to be squandered idly, we should always try to create and produce something of value back into the world \o/

Yes, I was 16 years old) I think that at this age I created more complex paintings than now.))

It is not believed to be a work of a 16-year-old writer.

I've been in hospitals since I was 13. I have health problems and the only thing that inspired me and made me fight is drawing. Art is my life.
And Yes, I believe that if you really want to, you can and 16 years to draw beautifully. You just need to give drawing all your free time.
