A stone staircase
Hello to all dear friends and welcome back to my blog.
Today I share with you a watercolor painting of a glimpse of the country imagined by myself.
My starting idea was to paint a scene of a small town with its typical characteristics: a staircase made up of limestone steps, terracotta pots with plants and a couple of houses.
I invented this composition with soft colors where I highlighted the elements with shadows.
In the foreground the plants above a low wall in the sun.
A small glimpse of the country, a sweet vision, like a fairy tale to tell.
The painting is part of a private collection and I hope you liked it too.

Una scala in pietra
Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog.
Oggi condivido con voi un dipinto ad acquarello di uno scorcio di paese immaginato dal sottoscritto.
La mia idea di partenza è stata quella di dipingere una scena di un piccolo paese con le sue caratteristiche tipiche: una scala formata da gradini in pietra calcarea, vasi in terracotta con piante e un paio di casette.
Ho inventato questa composizione dai colori tenui dove ho messo in evidenza gli elementi con le ombre.
In primo piano le piante sopra un muretto al sole.
Un piccolo scorcio di paese, una visione dolce, come una favola da raccontare.
Il dipinto è parte di una collezione privata e spero che sia piaciuto anche a voi.

Una excelente pintura con acuarelas. Las tonalidades geniales que van acorde con los elementos en ella como lo son los escalones de piedras. Sus plantas a los lados la hacen un lugar agradable.

Beautiful! I can imagine being there in the warm sun and the fresh air.
The light contrast with shadow can be felt. A very nice work.
