Ancient building

Hello to all dear friends.

Today I visited an ancient place, from the 17th century.

I was impressed by the size of this building, originally intended for shops and houses.

Nestled in a park of eucaliptus and still in perfect state of preservation.

I painted an watercolor that highlights the ancient pink color of the facade and the majestic length of the building.

I tried to give a good color contrast with the colors: red and green.

In this way I brought to the maximum prominence the ancient building and the green of the park.

Red and green are two colors that are opposite in the color scale.

Put in or in front of each other, they exalt each other, and give rise to the maximum visual contrast.

The light blue sky serves as a balance to the two complementary colors.

To achieve a remote effect, I blurred the building, making it clearer as it moves towards the bottom.

Antico edifico

Ciao a tutti cari amici.

Oggi ho visitato un luogo antico, del 17° secolo.

Sono rimasto impressionato dalla grandezza di questo edifcio, destinato in origine a negozi e abitazioni.

Immerso in un parco di eucaliptus e ancora in perfetto stato di conservazione.

Ho dipinto un acqaurello che evidenzia il colore rosa antico delal facciata e la lunghezza maestosa dell'edifico.

Ho cercato di dare un buon contrasto cromatico con i colori complemetari: il rosso e il verde.

In questo modo ho portato al massimo risalto l'edificio antico ed il verde del parco.

Il rosso e il verde sono due colori che nella scala cromatica sono agli opposti.

Messi l'uno dentro o di fronte all'altro si esaltano reciprocamente, e danno luogo al massimo contrasto visivo.

Il cielo, azzurro chiaro serve da bilanciamento ai due colori complementari.

Per ottenere un effetto di lontananza, ho sfumato l'edifico, rendendolo più chiaro mano a mano che si allontana verso il fondo.
