The Last Dance! watercolor

I share a large-sized watercolor with a couple of dolphins.
The dolphins are the marine mammals that most of all, have relationships with the man. We know different legends about dolphins, and we love their evolution in water, and we appreciate their communication skills.
They have a very rich vocabulary, they whistle, grunt, emit sounds perceivable from our ears, but also ultrasounds that are not audible to us humans, and they also scream like children.
But I do not want to talk about their communication skills with us men, I want to tackle a topic that is deepening many scientists more experienced than myself:
the dolphin (tursiope) tries mourning!
From several records analyzed by researchers of the Bicocca University of Milan and included in the Journal of mammalogy is It has been ascertained that the tursiopi and some whales cry their dead.
They are documented with many videos that testify to the funeral rites of herds of dolphins carrying, bearing the dead man with their fins.
This is the demonstration of how close the dolphins are to man, and how credible are the various stories that tell of unexpected rescues of shipwrecked at sea by the dolphins.

Dolphins are still at risk despite international laws prohibiting hunting.
The nets for tuna and swordfish always make slaughter of these friendly friends of man, but the most subtle and treacherous enemy is represented by bacteria and viruses of mysterious origin, together with the various forms of pollution that alter the sophisticated system of orientation, so strides and unprecedented massacres take place, and we men can not explain the reasons, alluding to the mass suicide of these extraordinary mammals!

Then I share my personal call with a dance of a pair of bottlenose dolphins, in a rough and hostile sea.
Wishing us to see them dancing forever ...

A hug to ultrasound.

Armando

Meravigliosi! Complimenti veramente.

It is really impressive his painting @armandosodano as well as his story about these incredible animals, he did not know about that they cried to their dead like us humans, these animals are really amazing and we must show them respect and do more to preserve this species.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful work with the family @nTOPAZ. ;)
