Cathedrals on the water.

Watercolor that is part of my next exhibition, entitled "Remains of Civilization".

In our history we have built a future of cities, monuments, works of art and technology

We are under the illusion that this is the best possible world.

Thousands of years of history and traditions that are slowly fading, degrading to a chasm caused by ourselves.

Creativity and the transmission of know-how will no longer be needed.

I will try to give my little visual testimony on the undoing of modern civilization.

A slow and inexorable loss of the sense of belonging of peoples.

A deep crisis caused by the phenomenon of globalization that is shown in a few years in all its negative aspects.

We are at the decisive turning point, rising waters are unstoppable and we will soon be faced with gigantic humanitarian disasters.

The cathedrals on the water will no longer be enough to welcome the faithful in prayer.

Useless and huge constructions with no more sense or reason to exist.

Cattedrali sull'acqua.

Acquarello che fa parte della mia prossima esposizione, dal titolo "Resti di civiltà".

Nella nostra storia abbiamo costruito un futuro fatto di città, monumenti, opere d'arte e tecnologie

Ci illudiamo che questo sia il migliore mondo possibile.

Migliaia di anni di storia e tradizioni che vanno lentamente affievolendosi, degradando verso un baratro causato da noi stessi.

La creatività e la trasmissione dei saperi non servirà più.

Cercherò di portare una mia piccola testimonianza visiva sul disfacimento della civiltà moderna.

Una lenta e inesorabile perdita del senso di appartenenza dei popoli.

Una crisi profonda causata dal fenomeno della globalizzazione che si mostra in pochi anni in tutti i suoi aspetti negativi.

Siamo alla svolta decisiva, l'innalzamento delle acque è inarrestabile e ben presto ci troveremo a fronteggiare catastrofi umanitarie gigantesche.

Le cattedrali sulle acque non basteranno più ad accogliere i fedeli nelle preghiere.

Inutili ed enormi costruzioni senza più senso o ragione di esistere.
