Hello to all dear friends and well back on my blog.
Yesterday was a nice sunny day and I went for a hike in this wonderful place.

Ciao a tutti cari amici e ben tornati sul mio blog.
Ieri è stata una bella gionata di sole e sono andato a fare una escursione in questo posto meraviglioso.

A site on the Tyrrhenian coast where a tower was built between the 15th and 16th centuries: Torre Paola.

It was part of a defensive system consisting of 6 coastal towers for the sighting and defense of the coasts from the attacks of Saracen pirates.

Un sito della costa tirrenica dove tra il 15° e il 16° secolo fu edificato un torrione: Torre Paola.

Essa faceva parte di un sistema difensivo composto da 6 torri costiere per l'avvistamento e la difesa delle coste dagli attacchi dei pirati saraceni.

I brought my watercolors with me and dedicated a small painting to this ancient tower.

I found a rather uncomfortable accommodation, on a stone in the middle of the sand.
