Hello to all dear friends and thank you for stopping here.

As you know I love painting with watercolor, a very difficult artistic technique.

The watercolor has within itself a light that other techniques can hardly render.

Light is a vital element of art.

In watercolor works, even more!

A good watercolor must convey emotions mediated or aroused precisely by the lights and contrasts with the shadows.

As many of you know, the watercolor should not have the white color, although some watercolours paint the final lights with white.

In international competitions, all juries ban white.

It is forbidden, you can not use it to paint the lights!

A good watercolourist must be able to give soul and light to the painting by letting the background color of the paper appear: white.

To paint shadows, the technical process is simpler, we painters can give energy and power to a subject with different solutions.

Watering with typical shades of shadows: blue, violets, grays and sometimes even black.

In my watercolor, I wanted to use black, for shadows, strong and decisive color contrasts.

For me it is very rare to use black to shade, but this time I wanted to try, leaving some parts of the painting blurry.

This play of light and shadow is a composition model that frequently applies in good watercolor jobs.

With this pictorial work created by my imagination, I want to highlight the natural beauty of light, which creates chromatic effects on painted objects.

As you can see the shadows are clear, defined and contrasting, to highlight the parts of the pottery and nature.

At the same time I have blurred some visual situations so as not to be too close to the objective vision of the reality of things.

Luci e ombre dalla terra.

Ciao a tutti cari amici e grazie per fermarvi qui.

Come sapete amo dipingere con l'acquarello, una tecnica artistica molto difficile.

L'acquarello ha dentro di se una luce che le altre tecniche difficilmente possono rendere.

La luce è elemento vitale dell'arte.

Nelle opere ad acquarello, ancora di più!

Un buon acquarello deve trasmettere emozioni mediate o suscitate proprio dalle luci e contrasti con le ombre.

Come molti di voi sanno, l'acquarello non deve avere il colore bianco, anche se alcuni acquarellisti dipingo con il bianco le luci finali.

Nei concorsi internazionali le giurie bandiscono il colore bianco.

Esso è vietato, non puoi usarlo per dipingere le luci!

Un bravo acquarellista deve riuscire a dare anima e luce al dipinto lasciando che il colore di fondo della carta appaia: il bianco.

Per dipingere le ombre, il processo tecnico è più semplice, noi pittori possiamo dare energia e potenza ad un soggetto con soluzioni diverse.

Acquarellando con i toni tipici delle ombre: i blu, i violetti, i grigi e qualche volta anche il nero.

Nel mio acquarello, ho voluto usare il nero, per le ombre, contrasti cromatici forti e decisi.

Per me è molto raro usare il nero per ombreggiare, ma questa volta ho voluto provare, lasciando sfuocate alcune parti del dipinto.

Questo gioco di luci e ombre è un modello di composizione che si applica frequentemente nei buoni lavori ad acquarello.

Con questo lavoro pittorico creato dalla mia immaginazione, voglio evidenziare le bellezze naturali della luce, che crea effetti cromatici sugli oggetti dipinti.

Come potete osservare le ombre sono nette, definite e contrastanti, per mettere in evidenza le parti del vasellame e della natura.

Allo stesso tempo ho reso sfuocate alcune situazioni visive per non essere troppo aderente alla visione oggettiva della realtà delle cose.

Spero che il mio lavoro e le mie spiegazioni a riguardo possano essere di vostro gradimento.
