Hello to all dear friends.

Yesterday we opened my solo painting exhibition.

I thank the administration of the municipality of Sperlonga and in particular the Department of Culture for having given me this new opportunity.

The location is top quality, a deconsecrated church from 1200 in the center of Sperlonga.

The title of the exhibition is called "Remains of civilization".

The title of the exhibition aims to remember what we have been and what remains of our time.

From the cities to the landscape according to my personal vision.
I have integrated written texts to support the subjects represented.

The paintings are made with different painting techniques: watercolor, enamels, oil and oxides.

With this exhibition, I hope to be able to bring some reflections or considerations to the surface
visitor, on the beauty and decadence of our Earth.

I share some photos of the location.

One in particular of the wonderful Roman capital of the Republican era.

This precious architectural and decorative element was found last year on a beach by some fishermen after a strong storm.

The capital inspired me in a special way, reminding me of a part of our history.

Tomorrow I will present the photographic reportage of Sperlonga, one of the most beautiful seaside villages in the world.

Ciao a tutti cari amici.

Ieri abbiamo inaugurato la mia mostra personale di pittura.

Ringrazio l'amministrazione del comune di Sperlonga ed in particolare l'assessorato alla Cultura per avermi ridato questa nuova opportunità.

La location è di prima qualità, una chiesa sconsacrata del 1200 nel centro di Sperlonga.

Il titolo della mostra si chiama "Resti di civiltà".

Il titolo della mostra vuole ricordare quel che siamo stati e ciò che rimane del nostro tempo.

Dalle città al paesaggio secondo una mia personale visione.
Ho integrato dei testi scritti a supporto dei soggetti rappresentati.

I dipinti sono realizzati con diverse tecniche pittoriche: acquarello, smalti, olio e ossidi.

Con questa mostra, auspico di riuscire a far emergere qualche riflessione o considerazione al
visitatore, sulla bellezza e decadenza della nostra Terra.

Condivido alcune fotografie della location.

Una in particolare del meraviglioso capitello romano di epoca repubblicana.

Questo prezioso elemento architettonico e decorativo è stato ritrovato lo scorso anno su una spiaggia da alcuni pescatori dopo una forte mareggiata.

Il capitello mi ha ispirato in modo particolare, ricordandomi una parte della nostra storia.

Domani presenterò il reportage fotografico di Sperlonga, uno dei borghi marinari più belli del mondo.
