Greetings to all the women of Steemit and beyond.

Today, on the occasion of Women's Day, I want to dedicate to all the female creatures on the planet, a watercolor, without mimosas.
In Italy it is tradition to give the mimosas to women in this party.
It happens very often that in my part of the countryside of Lazio, men and women are going to tear the swollen branches of these wonderful flowers from the trees.
The result is devastating and unfortunately this brutal custom has not yet been defeated.
In the surrounding countryside, observe that many saplings and mimosa shrubs are mutilated by their branches in bloom, and this dismembering operation forever ruins the growth of the plant.

But damn, why do not you give flowers of paper?
Even those cultivated at the limit could be fine!
Or spend some money and give your friends a picture of sweets or a handkerchief.
Even a few sweet attentions, a kiss, a letter or a hug, would suffice.
Personally, I gave this watercolor with hibiscus as subjects, to a dear friend of mine.

Hibiscus is the most widespread flower in the Pacific and is a symbol of the state of Hawaii. Tied to the ritual of hospitality, the inhabitants make wreaths to necklace that hold around tourists' necks.
Hawaiian women, if single, have a flower in their hair behind the left ear, if married, behind the right ear.
In China, a hibiscus tree hopes for fame and wealth, and is the symbol of the unmarried girl.
In South Korea it is the national emblem, a symbol of immortality, invincibility and perpetual love in marriages. (with me it did not work).
In Malaysia it is printed, since 1960 on banknotes and coins, with red petals, represents the wealth and growth of the country.

Un saluto a tutte le donne di Steemit e non solo.

Oggi, in occasione della festa della donna, voglio dedicare a tutte le creature femminili del pianeta, un acquarello, senza mimose.

In questa festa ,in Italia è tradizione regalare, alle donne, le mimose.
Succede molto spesso che dalle mie parti, nelle campagne del Lazio, uomini e donne vadano a strappare dagli alberi i rami rigonfi di questi meravigliosi fiori.
Il risultato è devastante e purtroppo quest'usanza brutale, non è stata ancora sconfitta.
Nelle campagne vicine, osservi che molti alberelli e teneri cespugli di mimose sono mutilati dai loro rami in fioritura, e quest'operazione di smembramento rovina per sempre la crescita della pianta.

Ma accidenti, perchè non regalate fiori di carta?
Anche quelli coltivati al limite potrebbero andare bene!
Oppure spendete qualche soldo e regalate alle vostre amiche, un quadro, dei dolci, o un fazzoletto.
Basterebbero anche poche e dolci attenzioni, un bacio, una lettera o un abbraccio.
Personalmente, regalai questo acquerello con degli hibiscus come soggetti, ad una mia carissima amica.

L' hibiscus è il fiore più diffuso nel Pacifico ed è simbolo dello stato delle isole Hawaii. Legato al rito dell'ospitalità, gli abitanti ne fanno ghirlande a collana che porgono al collo dei turisti.
Le donne hawaiane, se single, hanno un fiore tra i capelli dietro l'orecchio sinistro, se sposate, dietro quello destro.
In Cina, un alberello di ibisco, augura fama e ricchezza, ed è il simbolo delle ragazza non sposata.
In Corea del Sud è l'emblema nazionale, simbolo di immortalità, di invincibilità e dell'amore perpetuo nei matrimoni. (con me non ha funzionato).
Nella Malesia è stampato, dal 1960 su banconote e monete, con i petali rossi, rappresenta la ricchezza e la crescita del Paese.
