I´m currently reading “Just Poor” and thoroughly enjoying it. I can say honestly that I love your writing style - the theatrical style comes through much stronger in this book than in “Almost,” I think, but that is a good thing, very fitting with the landscape, culture and times the story is set in - it really takes us to a past Britain.
The part of Lady Barbara castigating Ms Kay for her selfish and destructive altruism was very impactful, it got me reeling while reading it, one of the most powerful dialogues I´ve ever read...
