Stone, flowers and springsteemCreated with Sketch.

It's nice when first windflowers (Anemone nemorosa) come in the spring.
Here are some beautiful white windflowers along with a large stone. They stand together nicely. On the second photo is a large stone clad with both moss and lichen. Nature knows how to combine the various elements to create something that is nice and beautiful.

Really wonderful meadow with spring flowers.
They are so beautifully located near the boulder
that you can admire them for a long time.
Thank you for your observations and efforts !

Great shots, dear @Siggjo.

Nice to hear you like these pictures @Singa
Superior that we value images from the phenomenon of nature.

I have not seen anything like it in nature. This is a fabulous glade. The northernmost place where I was was Pskov and Novgorod. I walked a lot in the woods, but, bright spots were only the caps of mushroom mushrooms. I have not met there flowers. Norway is much more northerly and so bright, it's amazing. Is it a stump, or a blue stone? It looks like copper ore. Thanks for the great shots!

The rock that dominates in the area where I photographed the stone is phyllite @Barski
So probably these stones are of the same rock, but that is not entirely certain. However, during the melting of the glacier after the ice age, boulders were also transported from other areas where the rock may be another. The moss and lichen that covers the stone make it more difficult to determine what kind of rock it is.
Phyllite is a metamorphic rock that contains the minerals quartz and mica.
Phyllite also has some of the mineral feldspar, chlorite, pyrite, graphite and carbon.
The variety of the various minerals can give the rock different colour and properties. This link refers to more information about phyllite rock. https://geology.com/rocks/phyllite.shtml
Note that the pictures of the phyllite here show different surfaces.
Stone number two is much like the stone I have shown in photo number two in my post.
Such more glittering stones can also be more of mica, and in Norwegian, the rock is called glimmer shale.

You have an excellent understanding of the flora and fauna, mineralogy, construction, you have the talent of a photographer, you are a very talented person! I am sure that you have not yet revealed to us all your talents. Good night to you!

I completely agree with you! And I think so!

These were many fine words @Barski
I appreciate them.
Thank you very much!
