Yurt
I love to see people try new things. I have a Nomadic buddy, Cal. And he decided he wanted to make a light and cheep yurt. 
And so with some pvc, bubble insulation and a whole lot of Velcro.
. Cal went to work on a yurt under $200. Got to admit I was a little sceptical
. Guess it just goes to show that if you put your mind to something you can make it work. It works great in the sun to keep the heat out. Good job Cal. I'm impressed.

How's it do in strong wind?
Really well up to a point... then this happens:
It handles rain, heat and cold perfectly so far, but still gotta figure out the wind problem.
NO! Is that 200 bucks blown to pieces?! Back to the yak hides, I guess.
Nah, all the parts are fine, the wind just caused some of the joints to disconnect. Easy fix!
Worth every dime then! And kinder to yaks.
Looks verry futuristic :)

Its kinda funny that special People like us tend to Yurts than to tends and stuff.
