RE: Investigating NOIA: Blockchain's Network of Internet Acceleration
Nodes will be capable of becoming Master Nodes via a proof-of-stake (PoS) mechanism.
This aspect seems very interesting to me.
How would the selection of work nodes be made to be accepted as master nodes?
We know that PoS contemplates the possession of chips. But how would they perform the hardware evaluation?
Would we assume the fact that the more work done (PoW) - the greater hardware performance?
The 100% decentralization plans are just around the corner, I imagine that this selection of future master nodes should already be underway.
Very complete your article. It really is a tremendous piece of writing.
I congratulate you.
Thanks @creativeblue
From the whtiepaper:
Those "certain parameters" are still a year or so away. I have not found anything final about this and NOIA does mention that it will adapt its long range plans based on how things progress.
I am unsure where you are going with PoS and PoW. What I can say is that PoS allows a major player with a lot of money to enter a blockchain investment easier than with PoW.
Thanks for your attention. I see that you are well documented near NOIA.
Congratulations on your article.
I will continue visiting your blog to enjoy your publications about the crypto market.
