While many projects have put off developments during the bear market, a few gems have had their development teams hard at work.

While the price may not reflect the improvements, these select teams understand that utility offered to the user is their most important mission. By foregoing instant gratification of positive price action, these teams build the value of their platforms and will be miles ahead of their competition in the next bull market.

If NLC2 was to go back to its all-time high it would have to increase in value 33.33X.

To see if this is possible, let alone probable, we'll have to look at everything that has happened since that high.

When looking at all the 2018 developments, it is clear that not only is NLC2 levels of magnitude more valuable than it was in January, but is very close to becoming one of the few full-service fiat to crypto ecosystems.

NLC2's platform spans many online gaming sectors, including fantasy sports, sports betting, and poker. Its unique value proposition over traditional gaming platforms are the extremely low fees allowed by having a platform with its own proprietary utility token. Having its own uber efficient currency allows for nearly instant withdrawals, enables the platform to offer free roll contests at minimal cost to themselves and easy global access for players.

All of this compounded with the extremely monopolized high fee online gaming market and recent supreme court ruling removing the federal ban on sports betting makes No Limit platform a very attractive project.

So clearly the value proposition is solid, but what progress has the project made during the bear market that supports the idea that it could someday return to its all-time high?

In terms of being a full-service fiat/crypto platform NLC2 has made improvements in three essential utility attributes: barriers to entry(fiat/crypto gateways), use case (utility), ease of exit (cash out methods).

Barriers to Entry:

Arguably the biggest bottleneck in crypto is the difficulties to be overcome to enter the market. While NLC2 is one of the few coins with a use case attractive to the mainstream (low or no fee gaming), it also has a commanding lead in terms of fiat gateways. With the recent update to the web wallet, users are now able to not only purchase coin with Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Etheruem, but Visa, Mastercard and gift cards as well. These purchases will all be processed through an API that purchases the coin through Cryptopia's order books.

This brings us to the next aspect of ease of entry NLC2 has made recently. During its last ATH, NLC2 was mainly traded on Yobit (ranked #42 by volume) and Cryptopia (#82). Since then NLC2 has been listed on Bittrex (#38) and HitBTC (#6), exposing it to an additional $350,000,000 of trading volume. This will have a huge effect on price action in the next bull run as in addition to increased availability, NLC2's measly 210,000,000 circulating supply will be spread across 4 large exchanges.

As recently was announced last month in Las Vegas, in Q1 of 2019 NLC2 will be forking to an EOS based blockchain. This will allow for much easier exchange listings (as opposed to the difficulties involved in listing NLC2's current chain) as well as inclusion on EOS based decentralized exchanges (DEX's) that have the potential to claim significant trading volume from their centralized counterparts.

Use Case

In addition to staking for 4% APR, fantasy soccer, football, and hockey, since it's last all-time high NLC2 has added basketball, fantasy crypto, and the world's first 0 rake poker platform to its use cases.

NLC2's new generous affiliate program offers 10 dollars for each fantasy sports player you bring in with your affiliate code, and 5 dollars for every poker player.

NLC2's fantasy crypto offers an educational platform for new crypto investors as they are allowed to create portfolios with limited risk. While crypto noobs are often forced to figure out how to purchase Bitcoin on Coinbase and transfer to a separate exchange to trade the majority of currencies, with NLC2 they can directly purchase crypto and practice investing in the top 100 coins all in one platform. Being able to create portfolios to enter in contests with set buy-ins will allow newcomers to practice investing in a wide range of cryptos with minimal risk of getting completely rekt-ed.

The 0 rake poker platform is a complete game changer for the industry as most fiat based sites charge a minimum of 2.5% to a maximum of 10% rake off the top of all winnings. For full-time online poker players that translates to up to $10,000 of lost profit a year. These traditional fiat sites are also plagued with complicated buy in and cash out processes as a result of the difficulties of transferring fiat digitally, which NLC2 circumvents completely.

As far as upcoming developments, in Q4 NLC2 will be launching a mobile application for its fantasy sports platform, as well as an API to enable other gaming platforms to readily accept NLC2. In Q1 of 2019, they will be adding esports to their fantasy platform, attracting a whole new demographic. In Q2 MMA will be added, and in Q3 the internationally popular Cricket game will be included.

All of these games will benefit from NLC2's fork to the EOS infrastructure as they will have the potential to become truly decentralized applications (DAPP's), specific details on this front are still forthcoming.

Perhaps is the most significant update is the upcoming fiat value freeze feature. This upgrade to the platform will make the experience seamless as users will no longer have to worry about the token's fiat value volatility while they play their games.

When users deposit NLC2 or buy in with a credit card to the platform they will only see the fiat value of their holdings. When they withdraw they will be credited with the amount of NLC2 equivalent to the value of their funds. This will drastically cut down on the learning curve and will make crypto inexperienced players feel right at home. This feature is scheduled for EOY 2018.

Ease of Exit:

It doesn't matter how low of fees the No Limit platforms have if you can't cash out your winnings. Luckily with the addition of Bittrex and HitBTC listings, there is now much more liquidity to sell your NLC2 for Bitcoin. From there, simply transferring to an app like Coinbase will allow you to cash out for fiat to your bank account.

The convenience of this process will reach a peak in Q2 2019 when NLC2 launches their debit card, allowing users to spend their NLC2 directly anywhere that accepts debit cards. This will even allow users to withdraw cash directly from ATMs, cutting out any middlemen completely.

With all of this considered, NLC2 will shortly be one of the easiest cryptocurrencies to purchase, use and sell. This will be a huge help in attracting a mainstream audience. With the planned fork to an EOS based blockchain, the project will be future-proofed with blockchain 3.0 technology and will be able to benefit from the growing ecosystem of EOS wallets, DEX's and other software products.

While there are no guarantees on what the future holds price-wise for the project, it is clear the team has not let the bears slow them down, and the project has become several times more fundamentally valuable over the last year.
