Impatience and indiscipline play significance roles in road accidents, especially in Nigerian cities. It almost seems like the road law, 'give way to traffic on your left', is a myth.
It is seriously taken for granted and would cost both parties in an accident, losses.
Even when in the right, one ends up wasting fruitful and precious time over issues that could easily have been avoided if simple protocols had been taken.
Taking calls and texting while behind the wheel is the most reckless and unsafe action ever. It takes a disciplined person to know these things are very very very wrong.
Accidents are without question, a cancerous habit eating into our time, energy, resources and most importantly, our lives.
My people, we should know better.
