Steemit in Nigeria

It has been a very beautiful thing being part of the Steemit In Nigeria, I am not refering to the Steemit In Nigeria (SIN) event here

I want to talk about how steemit has became a thing that is making so much impact in Nigeria.

Looking at the Nigerian community on steemit, we realize that, this is one of the fastest growing community on steemit with ACTIVE accounts.

Several sub- Nigerian groups have made so much effort to maintain activeness and consistency on steemit.

Though payouts are not 'wow' for many, it has made a great difference in the financial/intellectual status of the Nigerians that have remain consistence on steemit.

Several projects such as curation, contest, giveaways, competition, challenges have help to encourage the Nigerian people.

I would like to use these medium to appreciate some of these projects anchored by some individuals to improve, renew and reform the intellectual mind and awareness of the Nigerians, and thereby contributing to the development of the Nigerian economy.

  1. The Curators:. The Nigerian curators; @ehiboss, @ogoowinner, @desitnysaid, @gbenga and @fisteganos have done a great job. They have helped to make Nigerians display their talent and creativity in writing, art, music, videos to mention a few.

You know how it is when you see, that a friend earn more by been curated because they have quality post. You only want to do better to earn the visit of the curators.

They have also help in cubbing plagiarism.

Your efforts are been appreciated even when you don't know it.

  1. The @Stach project: by @ejemai; Amazing how you never get to know about something until you interact.

I learnt about this project first from @ejemai, when we interacted on steemit chat, and it wowed me. I really commend your selfless effort to contribute to the massive impact steemit is making in Nigeria. You and your team are appreciated @ejemai.

  1. The @redfishpiller: by @ maryfavour; The drive you have shown out there to support the redfish is amazing. Steemit at large owes you alot. Thank you @maryfavour.

  2. Steem-virusby @gbenga

  3. Genesisproject by @ehiboss and @ogoowinner

  4. S.I.N by @ehiboss

  5. Onequality. By @fisteganos

  6. Steem Care by @ehiboss, @gloglo, @illuminatus and @jade56.

  7. Africa-unchained by @destinysaid

  8. _Sunday Selfie by @tojukaka.

All these project are amazing and have contributed to the fast growth of the Nigerian community and steemit.com; and also activeness and consistency of steemians.

I will not forget to mention the Steemitdotcom community anchored by @dreamchasser. Its been amazing

Despite the epileptic state of the basic amenties, especially power/internet which has been a very huge limitation to the consistency of the Nigerian steemians, we are still striving to make an impact.

This is the reason why we will all support the Steemit In Nigerian (S.I.N) conference. Because this event is bringing together all the steemians/steemit you have seen in the Nigerian community.

Reason why all liquid payout from this post will be donated towards the success of the SIN event.

Forgive me, if you have a project in the nigeria steemit community that i did not mention. I may have skipped or may not known about it. Please leave a comment on any project you think i did not mention.

Thank you for stopping by;
