STEEM did not MOON ๐ŸŒš after HF 21-22 BUT metrics are looking better. Check this out ! ๐Ÿ™ŒsteemCreated with Sketch.

Dear Steemians,

As I wrote in previous blog posts, I reinvested in STEEM ahead and after the HFs.

After cruising, interacting and curating Steemians posts, I can say now I like the #newsteem better than the old one. This is a feeling but I believe people came back to the platform and interractions / payouts are less skewed thanks to some bots switching to curation and some whales "playing the game".

Below I am going to share with you some datas that I believe should make us optimistic about STEEM future.

As seen in @penguinpablo 's statistics (link here)

  • Accounts transacting are increasing steadily since last week to reach 39,647 on week 36 of 2019 (vs 34,958 the previous week)

STEEM Power up !

  • Most importantly, the Net Power up was STRONGLY positive last week at +977,939 ! Something we didn't see for months !
  • As shown in the tables below, Week 33 saw the biggest net power up at 363,873 STEEM over the past 8 weeks.

  • To add to these great numbers, other Steemians (as myself) have been BUYING STEEM on Exchanges ! More than 1,145,000 STEEM have been purchased FROM exchanges

In addition, do not forget that @steemit inc. announced they would pause their power down for a few weeks which should help STEEM prices.

Daily Users

Looking into @arcange statistics I could also some good news, Active users remain stable and sit at the top range of the past weeks (c.40k daily). If we continue to promote and curate good contents, these numbers could be finally increasing and sit passed 50k as it used to a few months ago

Transactions on the STEEM blockchain are also healthy and should remain high as many projects continue to onboard users (@steemmonsters, @actifit, @steemhunt, @appics, @esteem ...)

As stated by @jrcornel, STEEM inflation is quite reasonable versus other altcoins and is supposed to decrease below 8% in 2020 to reach 0.95% in 2037.

Here is the table of STEEM's inflation rate

2037 733,836,047 0.95% 6,971,442

Current Price and Market Cap (53,472,257 USD). Sits at Rank 80

Maybe we are sitting at the bottom, only time will tell, but overall I want to emphasize that this #newsteem as much higher changes to go up than before for all the points mentionned above.

I know that you all probably believe in STEEM if you read this, we have to continue to get the words out as some of us are doing on Twitter or other social medias.

What do you think?

I would love to hear your opinion on this subject. I will set a 10 STEEM @steem-bounty to open the discussion.

MintDice Powered Up by about 35,000 STEEM during this time period that you mentioned! We are supporting the SteemIt Network :)

It takes a while to get the results and I would expect at least 3-4 months timeframe to see the real result. Apparently, vote selling is slowing getting dead, and that indicates a positive sign. And even SMTs are coming up, so all these together, would place steem in a much better place. So next six months , I am sure, we will see the impact in terms of price.

I am a daily user, I post, comment, vote but I cannot say my future looks bright. My earnings
with my @wakeupkitty account came close to zero. I spent over 12 hours a day engaging to others and the benefits are zero.

Steem's price will only rise if people have faith in it. The faith is not there. Might be the top 5% makes a great income by curating, not me. It is simple... The highest bidder will be #1 in the long row of bidders at the 5th minute. So what you need is money, thousands of dollar to buy Steem and belong to the top 5%.

Is Steem worth investing such an amount?
Not for me. I have not that much with in Steem(it draining the pool) plus I have children who need to eat, need clothes, I have to pay their school feeds and already consuming my pension.

It is better to spread chances.
Like @fitinfunfood said to me yesterday: _ stop doing what does not bring you anything._

A wise advise. I do not know how to advise the newbies, they have no chance if it comes to curating. What to tell them about the greatness of Steem???

So far (I ask this since weeks) no one answers that question.

So pathetic poor me tries with a very slow connection to do what is within her reach with this account and same with my other plus arranging two contests. But let's be clear the prizes to be earned has to come from somewhere.

Thanks for the info and update. Only time will tell if Steemit will make it. I see no difference.
I wish you a great day with love ๐Ÿ’•

Thank you for this great comment and actually I learned something. The biggest bidder has priority over the other ones ? Interesting ! I didnโ€™t know that.
If some people are willing to build sp to be #1 it should drive prices and make everybody happy ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. Wouldnโ€™t it ?
And you are ahead the future Minnieโ€™s to come during the next wave ๐ŸŒŠ

With this post you summarized few valuable figures that captured from different posts! Thank you and STEEM MOON TIME will be here soon!

I'm loving the new stem. There is a new sense of community with those that are still behind and the empty vessels have flew the koop. I'm growing faster than I did before as I have been challenged to embark on my steem journey organically. More so I'm having a lot more fun and loving the effort everyone has put in.

I'm confident if the right kind of people stick around and join steem will without a doubt reach some form of glory. Till then. I'm enjoying the ride.

Same thing here, I believe it got the community together with new common objectives and ways to achieve them !

100% long live community!!!

For me it was better to have a slow and sustained growth after HF21, rather than a sudden rise that unbalances everything and ends up breaking things.

@vlemon has set 10.000 STEEM bounty on this post!

Let's see what changes of price we'll see after this events. Also hope new changes will increase interest to Steem from new people!

If the community continues to progress forward, it will just be a matter of time to take traffic away from others and onto a freer platform that rewards it's own users.

hey Vlemon :)
I think there are only two metrics that matter for steemit and that is price and traffic. Unfortunately we are going down in both since the hardfork. Look at our Alexa rating.
The problem is downvotes and too much concentration of power. I've moved to steem engine sites myself.

I would agree that there is not a huge pickup on but if you take the ecosystem as a whole, there are more users and traffic.
Concerning the tribes, I believe most of them to be useless except get free money to sell to buy steem. Only one of them has a great potential I believe and it is @dporn because it should be separate to Steemit. But steemleo or palnet ? What do they bring to the table now that bots are less useful on Steemit and curation is the same?
It is like BTC and BTC gold, diamond...
thank you for your thoughts even if we disagree, it does not prevent me to upvote you ๐Ÿ™Œ

If you take traffic is stable at best but if you take all the dapps and other front end, we are gaining views !
I wrote you a long answer and it got deleted... I am pissed ๐Ÿ˜‚.
Basically communities are like BTC HF to me and people sell them to buy more steem I believe (at least I do that).
Only what tribe has great potential in my opinion: @dporn as it cannot be curated and on the same platform as other content.
Even if we disagree, it does not prevent me from upvoting you ๐Ÿ™Œ

STEEM indeed looks healthier after the HF21, and I have to admit that I'm also like this #newsteem much more... I was afraid that it will go wrong, but I was wrong :)

Good to know I am not the only person feeling this way. This is the time to bring new people to STEEM
