The clause was issued as soon as the meeting has began. The police came to the meeting and handed over a paper to Maulana (Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani). I said, "Don't obey that clause, I'll talk." Maulana Sahib stood up and said, "That clause has been issued. Do not allow us to have a meeting. I do not want to speak, but come and pray.Maulana started praying. The microphone is in the front. For half an hour he cried out, leaving nothing left to say. Police officers and sepoys raised their hands and began to pray. Maulana Sahib concluded the meeting with a full speech at half an hour Monaja. The police and the Muslim League were completely fooled on this strategy.
