Are you old enough in steemit as to know how the irony works?

in #newsteem5 years ago

Did you know that barely three years ago, once upon a time when you were able to earn ten fold more moolah through a simple silly comment that you occasionally could randomly drop in someone's blog posts out there than the rewards of what your own most elaborated posts and inspired articles could generate in a whole week before the period of payout?

"EIP Disappointments"

Yeah! definitely 'curation wise' after the announcement and the constant promises of the so much prattled positive changes that would bring the so cackled benefits that we all as a conscious and humanly live community would obtain once established the philosophy behind the EIP on the steem blockchain.

  1. A convergent linear rewards curve.
  2. A separate downvote mana pool.
  3. Increasing the 'curation' rewards to equal the author rewards (50/50).

There is no doubt that its greatest exponents who were pushing this illusory agenda down everybody throats. They have fallen short, very short, in carrying out what they promised. And the most obvious victims and prominent casualties in this whole #newsteem adventure. Clearly it has been precisely the comments, the interaction and the engagement throughout the steem blockchain.

Amen of the user retention rate and the onboarding process of new ones.

Improving Content Discovery and Manual/Organic 'curation' my balls.

A man asked a woman:

  • - Can I screw you for a million dollars?

She replied:

  • - Why? hmm... certainly... let's find a bed!

He countered:

  • - What about for a buck ninety five?

She said:

  • - Hell no! What do you think I AM? A whore?

He said:

  • - We've already established what you are. Now we're dickering on the price.

well, well, well, well... Son!

Therefore and as long as I continue to observe that nobody upvotes the comments. Or if they vote, they do it with those so ridiculous percentages of 1% or less of their VP that don't even grant a 0.01 'F' cent. I will find it increasingly difficult to remain silent without saying anything about it.

Yeah! no need to say much in loud voice.

Your attitude & actions will scream louder.

Because clearly it can also be noticed that the same reprehensible poor conduct of these supposed self-proclaimed big 'curators' continues to be automated, only blindly exercised and granting upvotes with those same very low and ridiculous percentages of voting power exclusively on their own circle jerk and over the content of their closest cronies.

¿Is it that sometime in their life will they live up to their promises?

Yeah! two very different perspectives of the same experience.

I'm relatively new on the platform. This "newsteem" is the first great promise I present.

I improve manual healing by a good percentage. But the interaction in the comments that is what really gives life to all this, fell from a precipice.

There are several things to check if the intention is to improve.

I improve manual healing by a good percentage.

Healing no. "Curation" which is not the same nor is it written the same. :)

And yeah, there is no doubt only the pelabolas like us are always willing to curate content with a good VP percentage. After all, for two different reasons:

  1. Because their SP is still so low that they have not yet acquired their so desired voting slider.
    or
  2. Because they know very well that for the same reason of their low SP, unless they upvote at full 100% of their VP, they are gonna earn shit through 'curation' rewards.

But the interaction in the comments that is what really gives life to all this, fell from a precipice.

Yeah! tell me about it. That I am one of those who has been here on the platform for more than three Flourishing years.
