Two Weeks Later

Saturday, March 22nd, 2020; Maintaining social distance.

The current time in Dallas 11:41 PM, Hanoi 11:41 AM, Istanbul 7:42 AM, and Casablanca 5:43 AM.

Began social distancing this last week, and have not left my residence in the last five days.

It seems to be working. The number of infected people has increased worldwide; only not worst case scenario. Death rate percentage has increased; only not to the point of no return.

This Novel (new) Coronavirus Covid-19 (year) could just be a wicked flu, with the right medical attention, and in good standing health everything could be alright.

It spreads fast, only with the measures being taken it has been somewhat contained.

The economy might suffer the most. Yet it seems like it could recover in a new way that’s beneficial to all. Hopefully more green.

It could be that it just passes, and we’ve all made a big deal out of nothing. In that case this has been a good exercise as it brings the world together in the bond of humanity. That seems to be where things are going at this time.

So many questions remain. Is Coronavirus like Polio? Where you get it once and then never worry about it again. Or is it like the flu? Once a year. In any case we need a vaccine to feel comfortable because of how easy it spreads.

In some ways this Pandemic can be seen as refreshing, a break from the normal life. Almost like a vacation.

It could still turn for the worst.
