Students who avoid making eye contact with their peers could be guilty of racism, according to Oxford University’s latest guidance.
The university’s Equality and Diversity Unit has advised students that “not speaking directly to people” could be deemed a “racial microaggression” which can lead to “mental ill-health”.

confused connotations. Trotsky wouldn't have been as familiar with the American form of racial segregation, for one, and whether or not he came up with the term "racist", he definitely didn't invent the modern understanding of racism.
‘Raciste’ and ‘racisme’ crop up regularly in the works of late-19th and early-20th century French agitators, and Trotsky's use was in a treatise titled "What In National Socialism"...about the Nazis. Nazis are conceivably "dissenters of communist ideology", but they weren't exactly "noncomformists"
