My thoughts on the "Anonymous" New York Times Op-Ed

So today (9-7-18), the New York Times published an opinion piece that has sent shockwaves across the nations media. An unnamed person who claims to be a high-level official within the White House and also part of the "resistance",made various claims that Trump is surrounded by snakes; or heroes depending on your point of view.

It reads, "I work for the president but a like-minded colleagues and I have vowed for thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations."

Now this comes as no surprise to those of us who pay attention. We know that Trump is surrounded by people who don't support his agenda. Those in the Deep State and those from previous administrations that for some reason still hold any type of federal position.

It goes on to say, "The Dilemma which he does not fully grasp, is that many of the senior officials in his own Administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his own agenda and his worst inclinations. I would know... I am one of them"

I think that Trump is fully aware that those in Washington and even those in his own Administration don't have his best interest at heart. And in kind, they don't really have the best interest of the American people at heart either, at least not those who voted for Trump.

Personally, I don't believe that there even is an anonymous source. I would not be surprised if someone or someones in the New York Times made this whole thing up. It definitely wouldn't be the first time our media has lied to us. But what do you think? Is it fake news? If not who do you think the anonymous source is? Mike Pence? Someone else? I would love to discuss it below.
