Croatia beat Denmark 3-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw to take their place in the World Cup quarterfinals on a dramatic night that saw Kasper Schmeichel save a Luka Modric penalty late in extra time before Modric beat him in a see-saw shootout.

Bullshit Time: 

Both teams played very well. It is hard to say who was played better. With the stars Croatia has, they were able to create a little bit more chances. Croatia almost kicked Denmark out before the penalty shootout.

Kasper Schmeichel almost saved Denmark from this game. It is unbelievable that he saved 3 penalties. It was an unlucky day for Denmark.

        Ohhh what a match it was. The Dan's gave such a strong performance before going out of the world. What an evenly contested contest.Its a bit sad that one of the teams had to pack their bags and go home after such a performance.This world cup has been so unpredictable.Its has been a party for the underdogs.
