Family members of two families organized a marriage of a sixth grade girl with a 55-year-old man in Narayanpur village of Guthia union under Ujirpur upazila of Barisal. After arranging all of the wedding on Wednesday, the marriage of the local administration was stopped. The groom ran away from the wedding.
Rina Begum of village Dherpara under Guthia union of Ujirpur upazila got married with Rabiul Islam of Kalihanda village of Jhalakathi upazila. Husband Rabiul second married soon after marriage.
A year ago, Rina Begum got married to Sumon Mollah of Narayanpur village under Ujirpur upazila. Riddika Narayanpur Palli Union Institution's sixth grade student. Rina Begum, the fish trader of Dhaka, confirmed her daughter's marriage with Mujibur Rahman Molla of Bhabanipur village of Utarapur's Udaipur. On Wednesday afternoon the wedding day is just right.
Local UP member Shahinur Begum said that they informed the Ujirpur Model police station and police reached the spot and conducted an operation in the bride's house. At this time, the groom Mujibur Rahman Molla fled with his relatives. Ujirpur Model Police Station sub-inspector Sheikh Farid Uddin said that the mother's mother Rina Begum was presented in a mobile court. Rina Begum prayed for unconditional apology by admitting her mistake in court.
