Bill Gates this week has pledged up to 1 Billion Dollars to a tech start up by the name of EarthNow, who is planning to launch a constellation of 500 low orbiting satellites with HD cameras, to provide 24/7 surveillance of the entire planet in real time.
EarthNow say their vision is simple, they aim to provide real time video footage to allow them to monitor our planet and learn more, and also monitor And stop crimes in real time, such as illegal fishing...
The company also has major backing from multi bullion dollar Softbank corporation and their 5g satellites will be manufactured by Airbus..
In the wake of the latest facebook privacy scandal, this sounds like a great idea! Giving more access of our privacy to these power hungry tech billionaires..
This one won't end well for we the people...
