Cryto News April 4th 2018

Here is so Crypto News for you, the good, the bad, the Mcaffe. And like always nothing in this is investment advice, never invest more than you can lose, and if you end up living in a box because you lost everything don't come running to me saying it's my fault.

Crypto bouncing back?

MSM is all doom and gloom, here is a positive article on a possible comeback. You almost have to go to to crypto related sites to find positive news these days. Check out the chart of double digit 24 hour gains. Check out who is at the top with 38 percent increase!

I like this article it brings up all the points about the market that the MSM ignores. The market is up 10 times what it was at this time last year. AND THEY MENTION STEEM!!!!!!!

Forbes does a nice balanced article

What I like about this is it mentions people investing now are doing it because they see a long term value. The people who wanted to get rich quick are gone. That's my philosophy too, I'm in it for the long run. I don't care about price now, or in 6 months, I care about what price will be in 5 years, or 10 years. In my opinion that's where the money is.

They go over losses for all the coins, Etherium really got hit hard 1330 at its high to 366 now. Probably would have been better to invest your money in Steem. There is risk in any investment. It is in essence, gambling. Despite the regulations being brought in all over the world, people are still buying crypto.

Article mentions people who bought with credit cards, or re-mortgaged their homes to buy at the high point. Hey people buy lottery tickets on credit cards too. As a positive they also bring up some of the cool stuff happening in the blockchain sphere, like crypto social networks or crypto gaming. In my opinion the next big thing wont be another Bitcoin clone, but something blockchain based that actually is new and innovative.

Mcafee admits he pimps out his Tweets

Mcafee gets paid large for Tweeting about Crypto. Hundred grand he will mention your coin in a Tweet. So he mentions coin, gets a fee, and probably invests in it himself. Dude should be in prison. I am not crazy about people like him, he has that many followers he has a responsibility not just to say he's doing it for cash, but to disclose he owns some of what he's shilling. He predicts a million dollar BTC, I predict he goes down for pumping and dumping.

Google bans sale of mining extensions from their store.

The browser slowing mining software is still a pretty decent boogeyman to citizens. They are now calling it cryptojacking. Google sure acted slow to stop it. They banned crypto advertising before banning the software to secretly mine it from their store. In my opinion they were pretty much selling malware, while virtue signaling against crypto in public. This not selling it in their store won't make it go away of course, I am sure there will be many darkweb vendors willing to sell it.

Bitcoin Depot the crypto ATM expands

Unlike my local crypto ATM they also handle Ethereum in addition to Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin. Since my bank stopped allowing their Visa cards to be used to buy crypto I buy all mine at an ATM for cash. I think the machines are great, if I want a coin they don't carry, like Steem, I just buy Litecoin and trade them. The article mentions they don't require identity verification either, a time consuming and privacy violating process I hate. I don't like sending photo of my ID to an exchange, at all. Also ATM's can handle big traffic increase, unlike exchanges. Want to get into crypto related business without the risk of investing in a coin? Get into crypto ATMs.
